Gunther came to be an Au Pair with our family in October, 2003 from Austria. He was a Godsend - it was about 10 weeks after I had brought home Musa, Ibrahim and Sorie from Sierra Leone and I was still learning a lot about parenting - Gunther was a big help and a good team-mate and together we worked out a lot of the routine and patterns for our family. Gunther left us a year later and went to South Africa to attend Discipleship Training School and to be a missionary. He has a real heart for people and has the gift of evangelism - everywhere he goes he tells people about God and His love. Here is a picture of Gunther and the boys when he came back to visit in November, 2006. He is now married and living in Holland with his lovely wife, Elke and beautiful son, Levi.
UPDATE: Gunther and his fabulous family came to visit in 2014: Elke, Levi and Noah. We had a delightful time with them before and after they took off around the western states for a busman's holiday. Here is a photo of Gunther and Musa on that trip.
