The Syme family resides in the Bay Area and consists of 6 beautiful boys, 1 dog, 2 cats and a lizard. Our family consists of a single, working mom, and her 6 adopted boys from West Africa. Three of the boys are from Liberia and three of them are from Sierra Leone. Their ages range from 8 years old to 14 years old. Cody, a border collie rescue is nearly two years old. Misty, a cat is nearly 12 years old and affords endless amusement because of her psychotic behavior. Smokey, another cat, is nearly 2 years old and is a diligent hunter of gophers, rats and mice. She has a great personality and loves to explore the outdoors. She is not intimidated by Cody at all and will stand up to him and the other cat. We have a bearded dragon named Spike who hibernates a lot, eats leaves, lettuce, dried worms and crickets and looks to be very wise.
The boys enjoy all manner of outdoor sports with a focus on basketball of late with soccer a close second. Since we live near the ocean, the boys have all learned to swim, enjoy bike riding, games and music.
